Not Forgotten is the title of one of the spontaneous songs the Lord recently had me record on my new intercessory piano CD entitled, No More Orphans (see www.theartsexpressed.com STORE). Over and over in my spirit as I prayed and played, I kept hearing the words, “you have not been forgotten” in my spirit. There are many people of all ages in every nation who need to hear and believe these very words spoken straight from our Father in Heaven to the Earth for such a time as this. The One True Living God “so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17).

Many have been in a difficult season of hope deferred, of unanswered prayers and unfulfilled promises, or in a place of wondering if any even sees or cares about them or their circumstances. I am writing to decree truth that Someone really does care specifically about you and every detail of what you are going through. He has proven it to you by sending His Son to reconcile you to Himself through His death and resurrection. All you have to do is believe, confess and receive. Once you take that step, He will continue to prove Himself to you in many personal, intimate and amazing ways. In John 14:18, Jesus Himself promises to “not leave us as orphans…” He promises to come to us personally and individually. Jesus is the answer each one of us is looking for. He alone has the infinite supply and provision for anything anyone could possibly need. I decree that you are not alone. I pray and prophesy your spiritual eyes and ears are open to see and hear that He is right beside you…patiently watching and waiting for you to seek Him…to cry out to Him…for you to need Him…for you to believe and receive Him…for you to choose to follow Him and His ways!

I would like to share a personal testimony for the benefit of anyone doubting your Heavenly Father sees you and your circumstances in each moment, cares about all you are going through, and love you more deeply than you could possibly imagine. One of our children had been going through a difficult time experiencing hope-deferred. They were questioning whether the things in their heart were truly God’s desires for them, and whether or not any of the things prayed over them and taught to them were even true because of such deeply painful rejection and isolation. We had a prophetic pastor friend come to our home and pray with us. This particular child was not home at the time. When we came to their room, the pastor revealed specifically things this child had labored many sleepless nights over in pain over, crying out to the Lord. When we later shared, they knew the only who could possibly have known they were asking those questions was God Himself. This gave confirmation to them of “not being forgotten.” Confirmation of their Heavenly Father knowing and caring personally and specifically about every thought, every tear, and every desire. This revelation gave wings to faith in knowing the plans He has for them are good…that He will do what He has said He will do.

In Luke 12:6, Jesus says, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will  also acknowledge him before the angels of God.”

I have personally had these very words spoken over me during extended seasons of hope deferred…where the unseen promises and beliefs labored for were not manifesting. “You have not been forgotten…you are not forgotten.” These words have been spoken to me in the most unexpected places through people who didn’t know me or my circumstances. I know that I know that I know He sees, He knows, He cares, He loves infinitely, and He will do what He says He will do in His Word and to you personally in His way and in His time! I also know that His ways and His timing are much higher than mine, and therefore I can trust Him completely.

“Heavenly Father, I worship You alone, and I exalt Your holy name! I come before you to lift up anyone reading these words at this moment in time…anyone who is hurting and feeling forgotten. Wrap Your gentle arms of love around them, and Holy Spirit help them to tangibly feel Your presence, Your love, and Your peace. Reveal Yourself in dreams and visions. Reveal Yourself in the truth of Your Word. Reveal Yourself through Your sons and daughters. Jesus, be glorified in drawing each person to Yourself. Reveal the gift of Yourself within them. Reveal the gifts You have placed within each one waiting to be activated and empowered by Your Spirit to share with a world in need. Thank You, Lord, that in Your eyes we are NEVER forgotten…we are eternally embraced in Your amazing love and in the family of Your Kingdom, through the power in the blood of Jesus, the power of the truth of Your Word, and through the power of Holy Spirit!!!”
