This poem contains the explanation of a beautiful painting it accompanies, both of which were birthed through a dance released in the midst of seeking and soaking.

NO MORE TEARS
Copyright 2011 The Arts Expressed/Jenna Sorenson

I’ve seen every tear shed
For the pain you feel is real
But, not meant to be lasting.
Countless nights you’ve cried yourself to bed

So I urge you, forgive and forget.
I’ve said it before, move forward to a life without regrets.
When you do, you’ll be as a prisoner set free;
When you do, you will let Me be Me.
I will heal your heart
My dear, I’m a Master at such art.
For every pain, I give you joy.
I’ll give for every tear
One thousand smiles.
I’ll give for every fear
Laughter for miles.
I’ll make your life flawless as a breathtaking song.
Choose Me and through Me remain strong.

Don’t listen to what some say you should be, a lie.
Look to Me and see the treasure I’ve made you to be.
We’ll dance far, far from every fear.
You’ll ask, “Why ever did I cry?”
But for now, I look to the day when I’ll wipe away your every tear.

Are you looking for peace in the midst of the storms of life? In the midst of the busyness and distractions of life? The poem below was released in our KHOP (Kingdom House of Prayer) on 12/16/11 as we pursued the Prince of Peace. Everyone needs of a revelation of practicing His peace – of experiencing His dance of peace which surpasses all understanding, as you will read below.

A DANCE

copyright 2011 The Arts Expressed/Jenna Sorenson

That I could explain the wholeness I feel.

The sound of youthfulness
The sound of love
The sound of courage
The sound of peace
That I hear.

Oh, that I could show you
But, I can’t…it is not something that one beholds with his eyes.
It is a feeling that transcends explanation.

Oh, that peace, so breathtaking and overwhelming
It is wrapped around me – a veil.
It stirs inside me – calm waters.

For a second, I fall…my strength has been washed away.
Now, I am lifted by sound.
I am carried by waves…a spin, a step, a spin, a step.

Seconds turn minutes, and minutes turn hours…a spin, a step, a spin, a step.
Such soulful rhythm overtakes me.
I am undone in this dance of peace.
A spin, a step, a spin, a step…

This beautiful poem was written by Jenna Sorenson during KHOP (Kingdom House of Prayer) on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at The Arts Expressed. It is a glorious example of creativity being released in an atmosphere of the presence of the Creator, and is a heartfelt expression of how our Heavenly Father feels about each and every one of us! This is also a perfect example of my wall post reference on my Arts Expressed Facebook page 11/28/11.

To Our Tapestry of Miracles

copyright 2011 The Arts Expressed/Jenna Sorenson

This is the story of you.
The story of what was given to you
Before you were born.
So close your eyes
And picture your life a tapestry.

With brown thread I carefully shaped your frame. Your humanity.
With blue thread I weaved the breath of life. Your freedom.
With an iridescent thread I weaved hope.
To look beyond
what’s wrong and walk to what’s right when troubles come.
With crystal thread I weave the light in your eyes. So others would be drawn to you.

With a heavy thread of scarlet and pain, my Son rejoiced as He gave his life for You.
That through His pain you would hurt no more and be forever Ours.

At the same time, with thread wet with tears and joy, I weaved into you forgiveness.
This is for you to use when hurt.
Forgive my child, the same way you have been forgiven.
Forgive others and forgive yourself.

With the whitest thread I weaved innocence.
This is for you to know that I do not see what you’ve done or what was done to you.

With purple thread I weaved royalty.
Oh, that crowning moment, when I called you, my daughter, my son!

Our love for you is unending;
How precious were the priceless moments We spent creating you!
Our perfect tapestry.

Still, don’t you know
The time We took in making you?
Oh, that you would know
Your life is unique.
For as We weaved, We created new patterns.

Your royal tapestry hangs in Our court day and night;
Upon a glance We are filled with utmost delight.
Our darling, our child, value your life.

Love,
Your Creator and Savior

The Arts Expressed is looking for businesses, churches, organizations and individuals who would be willing to sponsor music lessons, classes, or seminars for children/youth who’s families are financially unable to afford them. There are many kids who have musical gifts and musical potential who’s families cannot take on the financial burden of providing the musical skills that would open up many avenues of opportunity that would not otherwise be available. We already have a list of kids who are looking for sponsors, and we take recommendations of potential students as well. Beginning in January, we plan to offer monthly arts seminars where sponsorships would also be welcomed.

Children and youth today are growing up in a culture that oftentimes leads those who feel isolated or the need to ‘escape’ the many pressures and negative influences, down a destructive path. Music, art, dance and other creative avenues, such as writing, photography, design, etc. provide avenues with which to challenge, connect with, and nurture kids down a path that bears much good fruit. Yes, our schools provide many of these opportunities, but oftentimes, the school environment is the very peer environment the child or youth need escape from.

The Arts Expressed offers non-traditional music methodology for students who either desire to learn a unique and creative approach, or for those where traditional methodology has been ineffective or uninteresting. Our instructors are both classically trained, as well as college degrees, Suzuki-training, and years of both professional playing and teaching experience to contribute to both a unique small group or individual learning experience. Our Suzuki background is well suited to preschoolers for parents who are considering an early start. Studies have proven music training in the early years enhances intelligence and academic performance.

The Arts Expressed would also like to be a resource for parents with autistic children who exhibit interest and potential in music. One of our instructors has both educational qualifications and hands-on experience in both gifted and talented and music therapy environments.

We also offer a variety of classes (Discover the Gifts in You series or Kingdomseries) for individuals of all ages who are seeking identity and purpose. Every person needs to discover for themselves who they are and why they are here. The Arts Expressed is an equipping center that empowers this generation to tap into their individual value, as well as the specific gifts hidden within waiting to be identified, nurtured and shared.

The arts express’d/Tammy Sorenson has just completed the newest piano CD project, entitled, The Journey: Hebrew Songs for Intercessory Piano. This project incorporates a new computer software program, Bible Music Writer, developed by Uri Harel and the Center for Biblical Hebrew through their Music From God project. The melodies for all but two of the songs on this project, Fearfully & Wonderfully Made and Arise & Shine, were derived from the Hebrew translation of each song title’s Scripture references. This software incorporates a revelation of mathematically converting the letters of the Hebrew alphabet from any Scripture passage to treble clef music notation, thus literally releasing the musical frequencies of the spoken Word into the atmosphere instrumentally. I have been creatively inspired by the Holy Spirit to add harmonies, rhythms, and form to the musical notation of the converted Hebrew Scriptures, as well as spontaneous improvisation, thereby transforming the spoken Word into a musical Word.

This CD is now available on the arts express’d website store (www.TheArtsExpressed.com), as well as through CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com). The songs on this CD (click the link via the webstore to listen to samples) are intended as instrumental intercession of the Scripture references for each song title:

I have recently completed two new books entitled, I Am A Good Idea!, and The Journey of Adoption. Refer to the posts on this website regarding both, as they provide detailed specifics. These books are available through the arts express’d webstore, as well as through Create Space, Amazon, and their various distribution channels.

I am currently working on a smaller version of I Am A Good Idea! to make costs more affordable for larger purchases. For example, as donations to orphan ministries throughout the nations, for churches to give as gifts to kids in their children’s ministries, for grandparents to give to their grandchildren, for Christian schools, etc.. I plan to translate this version into a number of languages, as I believe its contents contain vital revelation to the generations of every nation, and to every individual, young or old.

I am currently working on my newest piano CD project, entitled, The Journey: Hebrew Songs for Intercessory Piano. This project incorporates a new computer software program, Bible Music Writer, developed by the Center for Biblical Hebrew and their Music From God project. The majority of the songs on this new CD have been derived from the Hebrew translation of each song title’s Scripture reference. I hope to have this CD available by Christmas. More details to follow…

No More Orphans! Piano CD Background Information
All songs copyright 2010 Tammy Sorenson/Jaran Family Ministries/the arts express’d

Blessed Are
The words of this song come from Mark 10:16, Matthew 5:3-12 and Luke 6:20-26.

Lord, Your heart is breaking for the children…the hungry and the poor who cry in shame. Your Spirit is awakening Your people, who’ll tell them that You know each one by name. You’ve heard their cries for freedom. You’ve seen their hurt and pain. You love them as a Father and Your Son died for their gain.

Blessed are the poor and needy. Blessed are the ones who mourn. Blessed are the gentle and lowly, the Kingdom is yours. Blessed are the hungry and thirsty. Blessed are the pure in heart. Blessed are the persecuted, the Kingdom is yours.

Blessed are the merciful. Blessed are those who work for peace. Blessed are those who seek Your heart, sharing Your great love throughout the world. Blessed are the children. Your heart is breaking for them. Blessed are believers when they share and every child receives.

I Am
This song was inspired by the words Jesus spoke in the Gospels.

I see every face on every single child that nobody wanted; the world threw them away. I see every tear on every single face of every broken heart needing someone to look their way.

I Am the only answer. Don’t believe the lies they say. I Am the only hope you’re all crying out for this day. How did we get to here and how do we get to where we need to be? Jesus is My Name.

I see every child, hungry, sick, abused, crying for someone to take away their pain. I see every child empty and alone fearing that no one cares or knows their name.

I Am the love you’re looking for. I Am peace and so much more. I Am your way, your truth, your life, I Am. I Am the freedom that you seek. I Am your strength when you are weak. I Am your shelter from this storm…I Am.

How did we get to here and how do we get to where we need to be? Jesus is My Name. Do you hear My voice? Do you know My Word? Jesus is My Name.

Every Child is a Gift
This spontaneous instrumental song was inspired by Psalm 127:3. The message of the song is contained in my new book, also entitled, No More Orphans! Every child is a God idea, and is therefore a good idea. Every child has been sent to Earth as a gift, and as a carrier of gifts the world needs. Every child is invited to receive our Heavenly Father’s greatest gift of love and eternal life through the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ. The gift of Holy Spirit within activates and empowers both the infinite treasure of Christ Jesus and the specific gifts He has placed within each individual. These gifts are to manifest and be carried as an expression of Heaven on the Earth.

For the Orphaned
This song passionately expresses instrumental intercession on behalf of everyone who has been abandoned, rejected, discarded, or orphaned by tragedy. The spontaneous music reflects the daily questions and the unknowns in being orphaned: wondering if anyone cares, of survival, and of existence itself. It also carries the promise of Jesus in John 14:18 to not leave us as orphans.

“Does anyone see me? Does anyone care about me? I have dreams of being wanted, of belonging, of being loved. There are so many like me needing to know hope, needing to know purpose, needing to know we have a future, needing to know Love. Does anyone see me?”

For the Poor
This spontaneous instrumental song came from meditating on Luke 6:20-21. Jesus promises the kingdom of God to those who are poor and hungry in this present age. The music reflects the heart of the Father and His promise to fill them according to the riches of His eternal Kingdom of Heaven.

For the Sick
This spontaneous song was inspired as intercession for a precious family standing in faith on 1 Peter 2:24 and the healing of their husband and father. I dedicate this song to the Ted Landmark family, and give glory and honor to our Heavenly Father for this family’s overcoming testimony of faith. Ted is now eternally healed in the presence of Jesus. I pray this song will comfort and heal the hearts of those who must stand strong in faith and walk out the unseen.

For the War-Torn & Persecuted
This spontaneous instrumental piece was inspired by 2 Corinthians 4 and Philippians 4:7. As intercessory music, it reflects the tension, the monotony, and the perseverance of victims who daily battle living in the midst of war and persecution. It is also a prayer for His peace in the midst their storms.

For the Unborn
This spontaneous instrumental piece is wholehearted intercession on behalf of the sanctity of life, and contains a layer of sound intended to reflect life in the womb. For the Unborn represents being a “voice” for those who cannot speak for themselves. The Lord promises covering and deliverance from evil in Psalm 139:13 and Galatians 1:4. Until His heart and will on behalf of these precious and innocent ones manifests on the Earth, a sound must cry out.

Isaiah 61 for the Abused & Slavery
The melody of this song comes from the Hebrew translation of Isaiah 61:1-2, also decreed by Jesus in Luke 4:18-19. Christ in us IS the hope of glory. We are given His Spirit to carry His anointing and set the captives free. The word of the Lord never returns void, and always accomplishes what He sends it to do. This song intercedes for the release and manifestation of the purposes of Heaven on behalf of those who daily contend with the victimization of abuse and slavery.

Uri Harel and the Center for Biblical Hebrew has developed a program entitled, Bible Music Writer. His ministry has been given a revelation of mathematically converting the letters of the Hebrew alphabet from any Scripture passage to music notation, thus literally releasing the musical frequencies of the spoken Word into the atmosphere. I creatively added the harmonies, rhythms and form to the melody of the converted Hebrew Scripture, transforming the spoken Word into a musical Word.
Not Forgotten
As I have prayed and played spontaneously for all of the fatherless on the Lord’s heart, I hear His Spirit saying, “you have not been forgotten.” In Luke 12:6, Jesus says, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Psalms 56:8 gives assurance of our Heavenly Father keeping record of all sorrow and collecting every tear in His bottle. Because of the good news of this revelation decreed in His Word, this spontaneous song reflects a light-hearted dance as the Father sings over each of His precious children.
